Independence:

Having an independent advisor and an independent custodian became increasingly more important in light of the Madoff scandal. RVW Investing LLC doesn't have the ability to manipulate or alter the reports generated by Schwab, and the assets remain directly owned by the client in a separate account at Schwab.
